    What Medicare plans can I get from UnitedHealthcare

    Medicare Advantage plans

    Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans combine the benefits of Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) with extras like dental, hearing and prescription drug coverage.

    Special Needs plans

    A Dual Special Needs plan (D-SNP)1 is a Medicare Advantage plan designed for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid. Many include extra benefits.

    Chronic Special Needs plans

    Chronic Special Needs plan (C-SNP) is for a person with severe or disabling long-term health problems such as diabetes, chronic heart failure or a cardiovascular disorder.

    Medicare Supplement plans

    Medicare Supplement insurance (Medigap) plans help pay some of the costs not covered by Original Medicare (Part A and Part B). 

    Prescription drug plans

    Medicare Part D prescription drug plans help pay for prescription drugs. You can combine a Part D plan with Original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan.

    Institutional pecial Needs plans

    An Institutional Special Needs plan (I-SNP) is for a person who lives in a skilled nursing facility. An Institutional-Equivalent Special Needs plan (IE-SNP) is for someone who receives skilled nursing care at home or in assisted living.
